Irish Ice Cream Company, Arctic Stone, launch initiative where followers can nominate a friend in need to receive free ice cream during Lockdown, if they make a donation to JigSaw Youth Mental Health Charity.
After the Lockdown Announcement, we wanted to look at what we could do as a business to have a positive impact on our community – so we launched the ‘Share A Smile’ Initiative aiming to spread positive vibes across Dublin one spoon at a time!
So what are we doing?
We are delivering free ice cream to the friends of our followers who deserve a treat to make them smile.
We all know someone that deserves a treat - maybe they’ve lost a job, are isolating, are a frontline worker or maybe it’s just someone you miss! With the news of the Level 5 Lockdown, we wanted to help, by giving back.
Every Wednesday during Lockdown is free ice cream day! We are asking our followers to mention someone who deserves a treat and are picking people at random to deliver free ice cream to on Wednesday’s (adhering to government guidelines).
This has all been in aid of JigSaw Youth Mental Health Charity who our followers have kindly been donating to. This is the perfect way to let people know you are thinking of them, all in the name of a good cause.
All our followers have to do to get involved is:
Go to our ‘Share a Smile’ IGTV post on our Instagram @arcticstone_ireland
Tag the friend (you want to receive the ice cream)
Make a small donation to JigSaw Youth Mental Health Charity.
“There's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” We want to spread as much joy as we can, we all know we need it right now!
Please share this to spread some positivity, we want to see some smiles while donating to a great cause.

Giving back to our community is nothing new to us at Arctic Stone, we're often involved in raising money for charities, for example, when we did our World Record Event. You can find out more about our business here: Ucd Alumni Profile of the Year
